"We went live on EMR Link this Monday and I am just posting to say how pleased we are with the system. We can order labs from within Centricity Practice Soln 2006, print lab requisitions, and send the labs to Quest (our lab vendor) as usual. The results then return right into the EMR to the patient's chart, and go to the desktop of the ordering provider. A copy is cc'd to a virtual user we created called Quest Lab Desktop that our nurses review daily in case an important lab returns on the day that the ordering provider is out.
